Oblivious Much? is a new blog that I am starting in the hopes of sharing my unique life experiences with readers and hearing from them about theirs. I was raised as a Third Culture Kid, which means that I moved frequently from one country to the next due to the job relocations of my parents. While growing up, I was somewhat resentful of this and felt like a wandering spirit with no home and a cultural outsider no matter what culture I happened to be living in at the moment. However, as I have matured I have come to appreciate my formative years and the rich breadth of life experience that they afforded me.
